About this event

Members and guests are welcome to attend and join in a thoughtful and civil discussion. Our selected books are "Autocracy, Inc. the Dictators Who What to Run the World", by Anne Applebaum and "On Tyranny: Twenty Lessons from the Twentieth Century", written by Timothy Snyder. Read these two short books written by highly respected historians who can share ideas about how democratic nations have embraced autocratic leaders.
Our group meets in alternate months to discuss books relevant to an interest of the League. Books selected have been fiction, non-fiction and memoirs. Book group members Kim Finger and Donna Meehan recommended this month's books and will facilitate the discussion.
