September started off strong- with a total of 16 events and one training.
Registration events were held at high schools, all four college/universities, libraries, food banks, community events and materials were distributed to senior care facilities. We have contacted local businesses with outdoor reader signs to post a vote message sometime, October 16 – November 4, as a reminder to vote by November 4, Every Vote Counts.
Ending on a high note, we started our annual presence during the opening of the school year at WWU 3 days a week for 2 hours each day and will continue through election day, November 4. We have new signs to hopefully get the student’s attention as they walk through Red Square.
Volunteers are wearing sandwich boards. It has been very useful.
Please remind young voters, friends, and family ballots will be coming out around October 15th. Ballots are due 8 pm by November 4. Vote early and use a drop box when you can.
