The National Convention is held every two years, and the next one is scheduled for June 27-30 in Washington DC. It’s open to all League members, and our League is entitled to send at least four voting delegates.
Meeting in DC gives you an opportunity to exchange ideas with League members from around the country, but you can also attend virtually. The registration fee (as of this date) for in-person attendance is $550, which includes breakfasts and lunches. The fee for virtual attendance is $125.

Transformation Journey, which involves changing how dues are collected and redistributed, and is sure to be the subject of lively discussion.
The League of Bellingham/Whatcom County has budgeted funds to support the attendance of our members. If you’re interested, there’s a form for that! Log into the
website, and under
For Members, go to the
Forms page. At the bottom you can link to a form to “Request Pre-Approval for Travel Reimbursement.”
