Presented as an ALL IN for Climate Week special event!
Following this one-time showing of “Wild Pacific Rescue,” Dr. Marty Haulena, the head veterinarian and director of the Vancouver Aquarium, will tell the story behind the film—about a daring rescue of a baby seal from the man-made disaster unfolding in our oceans from plastic pollution and related warming. You’ll fall in love with the ocean all over again as you watch the seals’ rehabilitation and release into their home waters. Plastic pollution and related ocean damage is a story never told better.
Then Jason Morgan will explain the ocean cleanup by Northwest Straits and 40th District Representative Alex Ramel will tell us the legislative role in climate legislation.
Come meet PLASTIC MAN (He will make you shudder!)
Learn how your plastic footprint can be reduced.
