September 19th is National Voter Registration Day and the League of Women Voters of Bellingham/Whatcom County is celebrating voting in a big way—the entire month of September!
Voter registration efforts are year-round. LWVBWC members have led 19 registration events so far this year. Now efforts are ramping up for the General on Tuesday, November 7th. In the month of September alone we will be at these sites:

September 1st from 6:00 to 9:00 pm during downtown Bellingham’s First Friday, we will be registering voters at Mallard Ice Cream. First Fridays are your chance to browse galleries, get a bite to eat, and shop until late. In September it will be your chance to do all that AND to buy yourself some Mallard ice cream AND greet LWVB/WC members who are registering voters. Bring your friends and come down!
