The Communications Team is rebuilding and seeks new members!
The Communications Team ensures that our website, social media platforms, and newsletter (The Voter) have a steady stream of new content. In addition to this ongoing work, we hope to expand our outreach by integrating videos, podcasts, blogs, and other forms of media in our existing platforms.
We currently seek members who have interests in the following areas:
- Writing and editing
- Social media
- Graphic design
- Video production
- Sound engineering
We want our communications to engage new members, and to better show the work of the League to the public.
A top 2022 Team priority is to provide better outreach and services for folks in Whatcom County and for underserved populations.
Currently, there are many opportunities to help the team!
If you are interested in working with the Communications Team, we are flexible and can find a role for any level of time commitment.
