The
members of the 2025 Charter Review Commission have been elected and the Commission held it's first meeting on January 6.
The Commission has the authority to propose changes to the County Charter for voters to approve or reject in next year’s general election. Many of the elected members were interviewed by volunteers from LWVBWC, and one of the questions was, “What issues would you focus on during the charter review process if elected?” You can still find those interviews on our
website if you are interested in listening to what they said.
We’d like to follow the Charter Review Commission through its deliberations and report them to our members. If you are interested in observing and reporting on some of the meetings, which will be open to the public and likely available for remote viewing, please contact
