Voting Center Open on Saturday for In-Person Voting

With the election just 7 days away, the Auditor encourages voters to return their ballot for the November 5 General Election.  As of Monday, October 28, 55,760 ballots have been received by the Auditor’s Office.

If you haven’t received your ballot, please immediately contact the election division at (360) 778-5102. Anyone wanting to register to vote or update their registration must do so in person at the Whatcom County Courthouse.

Ballots returned by mail must be postmarked by election day, November 5, for your ballot to be counted. Voters waiting until election week to turn in their ballot are encouraged to use any of the 23 official ballot drop boxes.

Ballots can be returned in an official ballot drop box until 8:00 pm sharp on election day.  Official ballot drop box locations are listed on the insert enclosed with the ballot, in the Local Voters’ Pamphlet, on the Auditor’s website at www.whatcomcounty.us/Elections, or on www.VoteWA.gov.

Voters wanting to know if their ballot has been received by the Auditor’s Office can go to VoteWA.gov to view their ballot status. Voters can sign up to receive text alerts about their ballot status by texting the word “Vote” to 868392. Voters with challenged ballots will be sent a letter with the opportunity to correct the challenge. They will also be called by the Whatcom County Auditor’s Office.
