The final session of the Bellingham Public Library's three-partThe Art of Community Series will be Tuesday, October 22, 2:30-4:00 at the library's main location, 210 Central Ave in Bellingham.
This program, held in the ground floor lecture room, will focus on hopes and concerns for the upcoming election process. Themes will be election security, the path of the ballot, sources of reliable information, youth voting, why local elections matter, and how to make your voice heard not only on the ballot but throughout the year.
This is a participant-focused social learning model. Not sure what that means? Come check it out! We have invited Stacy Henthorn, our county auditor and her staff, Amy Nelson from the Salish Current, Carl Weimer who was on the County Council in 2015 when the charter review commission last met, and Campbell Phillips, a league member and WCC running start student to share experience from the field.
Registration is not required. Doors open at 2 – see you there!
