The Politics Industry - Book Group Discussion

The authors believe our political system is not broken, but it is "fixed."  It’s just not fixed to work for the average voter or serve the public good. One of the innovations promoted by the authors is a "final five" voting system, which combines a top-5 primary election and ranked choice voting in the general election. This change has recently been implemented in Alaska. Read more about author Katherine Gehl's ideas in this TED talk.

Member Cindy Madigan selected this month's book and will facilitate our lively discussion. The book is available at the Bellingham Public Library. Remember to ask for the Book Group discount if you shop at Village Books and thank them for their support.
