September 19th is National Voter Registration Day and the League of Women Voters of Bellingham/Whatcom County is celebrating voting in a big way — we will celebrate the entire month of September!

This Friday, September 1st, from 6:00pm to 9:00pm during downtown Bellingham’s First Friday Art Walk, we will be registering voters at Mallard Ice Cream. First Fridays are your chance to browse galleries, get a bite to eat, and shop until late. 

Wear your League "Vote" t-shirt, buy some ice cream at Mallard Ice Cream and greet LWVBWC members who are registering voters.  Bring your friends and come on down!

Voter registration efforts are year-round. LWVBWC members have led 19 registration events so far this year. Now efforts are ramping up for the General Election on Tuesday, November 7th, with many voter registration events spread out all over Whatcom County.  Events Calendar for locations and dates.
