LWV BWC Book Group to discuss "Orwell's Roses" by Rebecca Solnit
Join the conversation! We'll discuss
"Orwell's Roses"
, which informs us about Eric Blair (who published under the name of George Orwell), his personal pleasures in the garden, his personal struggles and his views about totalitarianism, freedom and justice.

Book group members, bring ideas for future books to the meeting. The League's book group meets on alternate months to discuss books with relevance to the League issues & mission. Books are selected & discussions facilitated by our members. Ask for our book group discount if you're shopping at Village Books.
Registration is requested to RSVP and receive the event address.

Our meeting is open to any League member interested in exploring topics which relate to the League's mission and then sharing ideas in a small group discussion. We intend to meet in person.
The League's book group meets on the last Wednesday of alternate months in the evening.
