July was busy in all corners of Whatcom County: Food banks from Blaine to Maple Falls, Everson, Ferndale, and Bellingham. Community events included Cordata Ice Cream Social, and Sunnyland Stomp, Bellingham Senior Center, and two new events, Hamster Walk and Roll, and Disability Sidewalk Fest.

As a result of two years of study and member consensus, LWVWA had adopted two new positions on Elder Caregiving and Welcoming Immigrants. In addition, LWVUS has adoped a new position on the Federal Judiciary.
