The League Stands for the Constitution

For over a century, the League of Women Voters has advocated for democracy and voting rights. But this federal administration is attacking the very foundation of both. We, the League of Women Voters, are nonpartisan. But we don’t hesitate to act or speak out when democracy or the Constitution is threatened.

We stand for voting rights. Read the latest from LWVUS says about the Supreme Court's ruling allowing the administration to direct the US Postal Service not to deliver ballots to voters in states that have not submitted their voter rolls to the federal government. More Election Information

More election information is now available through the Washington Secretary of State's website. In addition to being able to register to vote, you can learn about how to run for office, how to file an initiative, and, of course election results. In addition, teachers can find support for civics education.

National and State Action

The League of Women Voters of Washington and the League of Women Voters (US) are both working hard to defend democracy and pursue other initiatives in line with League positions.
