Climate Issue Team Takes a Field Trip to Twin Brook

The Climate Team recently visited Twin Brook Creamery in Lynden. There they learned all about recycling glass bottles as a way to use less plastic.

Our team is interested in working toward the day that we can go backwards in time to replace the plethora of plastic bottles that are poisoning us and use glass that can be returned to the manufacturer to be cleaned and used again.

Read about our trip and what we learned!

Healthcare Issue Team Update

In January the Healthcare Issues Team met to plan our 2026 meetings, as well as to review and acknowledge the bulk of work in the last year: the HIT Observer Corps and a new way to record our observations; the proposed Whatcom County Health Board expansion, and the status of Universal Health Care.

We are searching for a February speaker.  Contact us with your ideas.
