How Do You Get to Medical Appointments if You Can't Drive?

If you can't drive, how do you get to medical appointments? Maybe you don't own a car. Maybe your doctor has not cleared you to drive. Maybe you don't have anyone who can take you. Maybe you can not afford a taxi or Uber. What do you do? Paratransit is one answer to the problem. Join the Healthcare Issues Team on Zoom on Monday, July 20th as we learn about the intersection of paratransportation and healthcare. Maureen McCarthy and Chris Gray, Whatcom Transportation Authority, will discuss this essential, but sometimes overlooked, component of healthcare.
