About this event

Join in the discussion of Rachel Maddow's 2023 book Prequel: An American Fight Against Fascism. It traces the fight to preserve American democracy during World War II, when some committed public servants and private citizens thwarted far-right plotters trying to steer our nation toward an alliance with the Nazis.  Read more about Prequel, by Rachel Maddow, here.

At the March 25, 2026, meeting we will discuss Solito by Javier Zamora, which is the Whatcom Reads book for 2025.

Our book group meets on alternate months to discuss a wide range of books selected by members. The topics are selected from issues of concern to the League and led by members of the group.   The group meets in the Village Books Reading Gallery on the ground floor.  Metered street parking is available, or take a bus: routes 1, 14 and 105 all pass through Fairhaven.
