Book Group to Discuss The Night Watchman by Louise Erdwich

About this event

November is Native American Heritage Day and our group chose to read a Pulitzer prize winning novel, "The Night Watchman" by Louise Erdrich to learn more about Native American history and culture.  Louise Erdrich's grandfather worked as a night watchman at a factory near Turtle Mountain Reservation in North Dakota and her book explores her family history and native American sovereignty in this book.  Meet some of the characters and themes here.

Note the group is meeting on the third week of the month at Village Books due to the Thanksgiving holiday.  Find your copy of the book in our local library or your favorite book store. If you shop at Village Books, remember to ask for the book group discount and thank them for supporting our group.

Metered parking is available in the Fairhaven Business District or travel by WTA using route #1 or #14 to Fairhaven.
